The Pallas Systems’ PS-1100 is designed to provide all the connectivity and diagnostic capability a field maintainer may need with the expansion capability required to support multiple applications. 

But the PS-1100 is more than just a piece of test equipment.  With its network connectivity, it also provides the maintainer’s a link to the outside, whether to order needed spare parts, connect to a help desk or to report the status of the job, the PS-1100 links maintenance to the rest of the world.

For those times out of reach of the network, the powerful Intel based processor running Microsoft Windows 7 supports a host of document readers. Electronic Manuals, Maintenance Cards or a host of other help and documentation can be displayed on the PS-1100. Don’t worry about fumbling with the PS-1100, the 12.1” LCD display is sunlight readable and user controls are through the touch screen or voice activation.  Finally, sign off on the tech order or write up your notes using the stylus and automatic handwriting recognition. 

The PS-1100 is flexible. The motherboard provides two PXI slots for use with a broad array of PXI instrumentation. Further expansion capability is readily available with the external POD™. The external POD™ is an active test interface between the PS-1100 and the outside world. It provides all the interface connections needed for a particular application and multiple PODs™ can be interchanged in the field. The POD™ can also be replaced with a docking station that allows easy use of the PS-1100 at a fixed location like a test bench. These expansion features allow the PS-1100 to extend its core test capability to fit the application at hand. The PS-1100’s expansion capability provides for support of an almost unlimited number of applications and requirements. 

Finally, the PS-1100 is built to live with personnel in the field.  It is build battle-ready tough to keep up with the environments and challenges that face the field maintainer on a daily basis. So when the maintenance organization needs to reduce its footprint in the field, work faster, smarter and with less, the PS-1100 is there.
